Wale Finds His Lotus Flower Bomb…a Top Model!

First off, if you have NOT heard “Lotus Flower Bomb” I don’t know what rock you been hiding under! Wale is making the video for his newest single off his recently release album, “Ambition”. Bre Scullark of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 5 and Cycle 17 (The All Star Edition) plays the role of the leading lady. Ya’ll remember Bre…she was the one that had the strong country accent that everybody hated on!

Anyway, who else would be better to play the role? Bre never quit and gave up post-ANTM…she’s actually featured in an upcoming Old Navy campaign, Garnier commericals and print ads, Tyler Perry’s new sitcom ‘For Better Or Worse’ and she has an upcoming guest starring roll on CSI. Talk about ambition!

Now, I like Wendy…I really do…BUT…she was SO RUDE to Draya and I LOOOOOVE Draya! I was really hoping Wendy would try to pull out the positive on the show but she was really just messy…but that’s Wendy’s style. Wendy instigated all the rumors as if she was in agreeance that the Basketball Wives Star, Draya, is a jumpoff and a bad mother and that she would never be anything other than. I didn’t like this interview at all.

Rick Ross Take Some Time to Recover

Anyone hoping to see Rick Ross perform before the year is up just may be out of luck. Rick Ross just postponed his LA show to January. Rozay was also supposed to make an appearance in Atlanta tomorrow, but that has been postponed as well.

And though Rick has not spoken out or tweeted anything since his Wingstop event, Nicki Minaj told MTV News,

“We actually been talking about him and praying for him on the trailer because he’s such a crucial part of hip-hop right now and we’re just hoping he’s healthy. That’s all we can do is pray and hope that he gets some rest and comes back stronger.”

Feel better Boss! …and stay away from that fried chicken!

Will Smith Goes Back to Philly to Buy the 76ers!

“In West Philadelphia born and raised…shooting some b-ball outside of the school” is what Will Smith used to do…but now he doesn’t shoot balls…he owns the team that does! Will Smith along side wife Jada Pinkett Smith and Joshua Harris just became ownners of a percentage of the Philadelphia 76ers. Will became the 4th major recording artist after Usher (Cleveland Cavs), Nelly (Charlotte Bobcats), and Jay-Z (New Jersey Nets). The Prince of Bel-Air is part of an investment group, headed by multi-billionaire Joshua Harris, who made the major purchase and was unanimously approved by the NBA Board of Governors.

At a press conference Tuesday morning, Harris announced the new ownership via press release: “It is an honor to become part of this storied franchise. We have a lot of work to do, but we have a rich history, a strong foundation and a bright future.”

Soulja Boy Gets Arrested!

HAVE WE NOT LEARNED ANYTHING FROM T.I.?!?!?! Soulja Boy just can’t seem to stay away from those drugs. Rapper, De’Andre Way, was arrested in Temple, GA around 3:15 yesterday morning. TMZ reports:

…during the stop, cops found a “substantial amount” of marijuana and cash inside the vehicle.” Soulja and the 4 other men were all arrested.

Law enforcement sources tell us officers also found guns inside the car — though it’s unclear if any of the men had the proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms.

One source with knowledge of the situation tells us there was roughly $70,000 in cash and drugs in the car

NEW VIDEO: Kelly Rowland “Down For Whatever”

As Miss Rowland belts out, “You bring out a side I didn’t know” …I must say the same thing back to her! Kelly is turning up the sexy once again! No sooner than we were able to finish gawking over “Lay It On Me” she puts out a new video for her single, “Down For Whatever” off the “Here I Am” album. And yes, here she is posing nude in the video while dancing to techno-inspired beats. The video was very reminiscent of a throwback Madonna or Lady Gaga video [i.e. Bad Romance] with the symmetrical haircut and face cage. Not to mention the glow-in-the-dark-body-paint-lap-dance-like-superbass scene. -______-

Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE KELLY…but I feel like she’s cutting herself short. I want to see her start a trend…not follow one. Check the new video below!
